you or Foer or his other critics, even if those critics are absolutely correct. I know very little about Hungary and Orban and I haven’t spent the last three years on a whirlwind speaking tour/publishing a book/posting YouRube lectures etc.

This indeed states the point of my original thread more succinctly - that the common cause between right liberals and illiberal conservatives is incoherent when you look at Orban and what the illiberal critics of universities in fact want.
