Some good stuff in those issues! Including Greary/Flaubert, right?
Yeah! Back page of every issuepic.twitter.com/r5eGhYI3Vc
Quite a bit of Alec Stevens too, who I haven’t thought of in awhile
Yeah, good stuff. Although I have to say all the Fanta anthologies before Zero Zero & Mome were kind fo flawed. They tried to find a middle ground between RAW & Weirdo but that was a limitation.
I feel like Prime Cuts is steadfastly in the RAW camp. (Also: Zero Zero is totally underrated)
I have strong opinions on 1980s comics anthologies. Ask me anything.
More interesting for the text (i.e. the Bill Watterson interview) than the comics. Although Sacco's funny side (as in Yahoo) was a path not taken (or only intermittently taken).
Did you read Bumf? It’s an sorta attempt to return back to that vein, but with a harder political edge.
Yes, very interesting. Is he going to do another issue?
Dunno. I haven’t seen or heard anything so I’m guessing not? Recent news events sotra surpassed his satire
