Agree with the Times, need to stay off the Maddow, LOD, Hayes shows on MSNBC Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham shows on the Right. There are plenty of others on both sides. They are all a detriment to a healthy republic.
-
Then why should they go on Morning Joe?

I wonder if, when the New York Times was first founded, it let its reporters go on circuit riding tours with only Stephen A. Douglas.

It's kinda difficult to explain the falsehood of "objectivity" as a concept, but this episode is really doing a lot of good work in that direction.
-
You cannot go against subjectivity, because even when you do, trying to be objective, is part of subjectivity too. . .

Morning Joe is really not centrist, at least not where trump is concerned. It’s as virulently anti-Trump as any other show on
@MSNBC. It’s definitely an opinion show, I don’t think anyone on the show would refute that. So in other words, you’re right. -
Morning Joe helped launch Trump in the first place. And he was virulently anti-Clinton. His only consistent opinion is his opinion of himself.
