…perceived as a threat to Bernie’s candidacy. BTW, I love how all the Bernie people all of a sudden fulminating about Biden are twelve years behind me.https://m.dailykos.com/stories/2007/8/7/368407/- …

Why is criticizing Biden even a pro-Bernie thing. There are lots of Democratic candidates who are better on this than Biden. Beto came through with an interesting climate plan. The whole point of a primary is to argue politics.

Uh, what were we talking about? A very pro-Bernie event where pro-Bernie ppl spent a lot of time attacking him, just not by name. The bad faith is hard to ignore. I’m making a political argument. You know it doesn’t follow that therefore I’m ok w Biden’s candidacy & policies

Biden is the front-runner so criticizing him is the logical thing for another campaign to do. I wish the other Dems were also criticizing Biden on this, maybe it would get him to change his stance.

Like I said, you’re not they good at punditry. 1. Tout your own candidacy 2. Do opposition research & get it on the hands of reporters 3. Wait until debates start to worry about knocking down the supposed fromtrunner 4. Give the opportunity to hit Niden to others…

…so that if they do the deed they pay the cost & you don’t 5. Time for some game theory & see the front runner as not your main opposition at every moment. Rather, look at who’s getting 3% or 7% & 12% and figure out whose support you can get now to narrow the field…

..to your advantage 6. Don’t play in to the hands of your opponents by doing exactly what they criticized & predicted you & your supporters would do (again) 7. Recognize that if you’re spending so much time attacking the frontrunner, you may knock him down but you’ll drive…

…down the secondary support for you among the frontrunner’s supporters. 8. Don’t staff your campaign with trolls I could go on, but that’s just s few things off the top of my head for people who want to win, vs purity preen & grandstand.

This might be all good advice for Bernie's staff, but I'm not one of them.

No, you’re not. So why jump in to defend his supporters who are advancing his candidacy & (at least some of whom) are coordinating w his campaign,& then argue what they’re doing is a sound way to advance policies they claim are reasons to vote for Sanders?

Because I think political debate during primaries is a good thing.

As do I about calling out bad faith.

BTW, I don’t think you’re operating in bad faith. But I do think you’re not seeing the bad faith of some of those whose arguments are similar to yours.
