Nobody is urging a crackdown. She is arguing that this person has bad views. She is not saying his speech should be disrupted or the group has no right to make the bad choice to invite him.

Surely the point here is that the piece in the Stanford Daily is a bone-headed failure of analysis at every level, and that Weiss is very silly to have given it greater prominence.

Who knows what is in his mobilization is but he mobilized tropes in service of an end. Don’t think we’d need to parse whether the policy ends of a right wing bigot are good if they were using bigotry to get there.
