      1. It increasingly feels like Biden, if he's the Democratic nominee, will be Hilary Clinton 2.0, but worse. A campaign based on personal revulsion against Trump, nostalgia for normal politics, & outreach to moderate Republicans.https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1124667509242777600 …

Joe Biden says the Trump presidency is an aberration, and that he doesn't represent the Republican Party. Some Democrats think that is naive. https://nyti.ms/2H0fZd1

Here it comes. Dems attacking dems because they want their pony. Maybe recognize that THIS kind of garbage gave us Trump. Support who you want, but have the intellectual depth to say WHY your candidate is good, not just tear other dems down.

Dems attacking Dems. So how can it always be so one-sided?

Republicans fight to win. Too many Democrats fight for purity, because they are self-righteous and narcissistic. The "I won't vote" idiots dont even understand that, by throwing away the Supreme Court in 2016, single payer will NEVER happen. But they want purity, not success.

Bringing the “purity” argument into this misses the point. Biden has lost Dem primaries before. Why? Because he’s not a good candidate. He has a pattern of self-sabotaging and unforced errors, A LOT of baggage, and isn’t inspiring. *His* arrogance in running is the danger.

Dems have candidates running who have qualifications, little baggage — AND the unteachable talent to inspire. Yet, because of nostalgia-based name recognition polls, Biden convinced himself he’s the only one who can defeat Trump. It’s very possible he’s one of the few who CAN’T.

i wouldn't go so far as to say he can't beat Trump but, yes, he has baggage which would divide Dems. And there are lots of talented candidates.
