IMO, Mercers waaaay more than Kochs. The Kochs, to their credit, are at least willing to accept alt-righties who had libertarianism as their gateway drug back into the fold if they ditch most if not all of the white supremacy, racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, etc....

Missing from this analysis is the role Ayn Rand's writing has played. Her toxic rhetoric against leftism is unmistakable in the diatribes of Trump and today's far right. In a YouTube interview Richard Spencer cites her writing as the most common entrance to the Alt-Right.
