Oh. Btw, what would your reaction be if someone told you trump is not a fascist?

Oh, I saw you debating someone on that. I'm not too hung up over words. I mean, it's clear that Trump is a racist with authoritarian impulses (which he's too incompetent to effect). You can call it what you like: fascism, proto-fascism, authoritarianism.

To put a finer point on it, my argument was that you cannot state definitively as that writer did, that Trump is "not" a fascist.

Ivana said he kept a book of Hitler speeches by their bedside but maybe that's just her Sly humor.

I think that was in a fact checked article for Vanity Fair, so there's every reason to think it's true. Didn't Trump confirm it?

I don't think he did.

Trump misidentified the book (he said it was Mein Kampf) but from this exchange he (and his friend) seem to verify Ivana's story. https://www.vanityfair.com/magazine/2015/07/donald-ivana-trump-divorce-prenup-marie-brenner …pic.twitter.com/4e75r7k0il

Looking at the quotes it seems like Trump did own a copy of a Hitler book. The dispute is whether it was Mein Kampf (as Trump says) or speeches (as friend & Ivana say), also whether it was on his bedside.
