I'm not watching the video, but calling for media not to report shooter's name is an absurd "solution." Unworkable in a free society & will only generate conspiracy theories.

I don’t think censoring a name is what most people are arguing. But there’s no need to amplify it. Think VTech. That guys name and face was plastered everywhere for days and it was gross and didn’t do anything but amplify insanity.

Yes, exactly. Not calling for censorship but rather no amplification of killer's name. Best to refer to it by place (Christchurch massacre) rather than give killer(s) fame.
