I think it's more the GOP-style invocation of "political correctness" as a constraint keeping everyone from doing stuff most people actually do. As though it's super weird for her to like being a wife now that PoLiTiCaL CoRrEcTnEsS has destroyed families forever

When John Rawls was criticized by those espousing identity politics, part of the pushback against pure cultural doctrinarianism was that ID politics ultimately failed to solve economic inequalities. (e.g. Nancy Frasier). It is a debate worth keeping in mind in this primary.
