Seriously, if Michael Tracey plays his cards right, he could be in the Trump era what Christopher Hitchens was in the Bush era, the quondam leftist who wins an audience by making contrarian arguments for an indefensible Republican president. Always a market for that.

I take exception to this analogy in numerous respects, but especially insofar as Hitchens was making "contrarian arguments" in favor of a pro-war policy, which is something I've never done in my life, and will never do.

Also, Hitchens endorsed Bush in 2004. I can tell you right now that I will not be endorsing Trump in 2020.

What about a confessor for you Jeet? You were especially harsh on the Covington students & you virtue-pressured Tracey to "concede" they were racists. Any remorse? Nathan Phillips is a serial liar and you were too eager to smear children (who were being threatened).

If my kids did a tomahawk whoop in the face of an elderly Native man, I'd be mortified and punish them. It's interesting that a lot of white people think that sort of behavior is okay.
