I agree with Carlson that Michael Tracey is worth reading (on Twitter and in articles). Oddly, Michael, from his perch as a putative former Sanders supporter, often makes arguments for Trump that are more effective & sharp than those of ostensible rightwingers.https://twitter.com/justinbaragona/status/1100930020019720195 …

I don't think "worth reading" is an endorsement. It's important to read fascists.

You probably should try to make that clearer, I think?

I think the link between Carlson and Tracey, coupled with noting that Tracey is often making arguments for Trump, is sufficient.

fwiw, I think Tracey would be pretty happy with your tweet, Jeet; being a smart "alternative" pro-Trumpish voice is how he tries to brand himself, pretty much.

In my experience of arguing with him, Michael hates to be seen as pro-Trump. He even resists being called anti-anti-Trump.

I think the outreach Tucker Carlson is making to the putative left (Greenwald, Nagle, Tracey) is politically significant -- and, it goes without saying, dangerous. Worth paying attention to. I don't think "worth reading" is at all the same is "valid."

No one likes labels, but the shoe fits. He can make a case (I guess) he isn’t pro-Trump, but certainly not that he isn’t anti-anti Trump. That’s almost exclusively his Twitter feed.
