I totally agree. He may not have been perfect through today’s eyes, or even 1960’s eyes, but the book was about how Scout came to terms with his moral certitude. This play seems to be about Atticus realizing, Hey 1930s Southern racism is REALLY BAD! Maybe even EVIL!
