"Hitler wasn't really a nationalist, he was a globalist." If you think about what the word "globalist" is code for, this is not just ignorant, it is also sinister.

Let's be clear: "Hitler was a globalist," like the lie that Soros being a Nazi, is an attempt to pretend you are anti-Nazi while at the same time reviving a cornerstone of Nazi mythology (the concept of Judeo–Bolshevism).

Candace Owen is a creepy grifter, but the deeper problem that allows people like her to flourish is that popular understanding of Nazism tends to be cloudy in North America, which is a legacy of the Cold War and America's quick abandonment of de-Nazification.

In Candace's case I'll go with Occam's razor and that she's just dumb. She'd fare so well under the triumph of the master race, after all.

Thank you for untangling this. The sneaky forms of subterfuge fascist argumentation requires should be the #1 tell that they are up to no good.

          Hitler was a globalist = Judeo-bolshevism. I don't follow.

It's not that different from the "Nazi were SOCIALISTS" meme so loved by right wingers: it's a way for people with many things in commons with Nazis to pretend they can't be accused of being nazi adjacent bcause they're on the other partisan hemisphere"
