Yelling racial and homophobic slurs is hurtful.
When someone yells something racist at me, I usually disengage. If it's a more threatening situation, you try and talk them out of it and/or call the cops.
These aren't activists but an obviously unhinged group which most people manage to walk around and avoid. It's worth watching the video and seeing how in the hour before the confrontation the general crowd was keeping a wide breadth from Black Israelites.
