That’s all very nice but I doubt you read my book and have little idea what I said about Hillary.https://twitter.com/HeerJeet/status/1077033469820063744 …

In 2016 I was critical of HRC where I thought it was warranted (her hawkishness, her strategy of appealing to GOP moderates) but, unlike (ahem) some people, I didn't see her as evil incarnate to be attacked even at the expense of ignoring Trump.

I have read your book. I think even if one agreed with it 100%, it was irresponsible & infantile to spend 2015/2016 pretending that HRC was the main threat to America and Donald Trump just a passing side-show.

Aye. Regarding HRC as a greater threat than Trump was a common but monstrous error in summer 2016. In spring 2016 it was a very understandable error. But in 2015 it was simply reasonable.

Jeet’s 100% correct here; in retrospect those demonizing HRC in 2016 have plenty of blood on their hands.

Let's see, but the HRC campaign taking active measures to aid Trump winning the GOP nomination gets off scott free. What bs you & Jeet are pushing here.

Sadly , many on the left voted in the general election with that conviction. How else to explain Green Party votes in swing states?

The Green Party doubled its vote over 2012. The LP tripled its vote over 2012. By the same calculus that has Greens giving WI/MI to Trump, Evan McMullin kept HRC from losing MN. it’s what happens when both parties run historically unpopular candidates.

          1) That's just ahistorical, Jeet. In 2015/2016 there was a primary between at least two candidates for Dem nomination. HRC, as warmonger, was a serious threat to the US & the world. While some Dems were opposing HRC, her campaign was maneuvering to help Trump win the nomination.

          2) She even hoped she & Donald could be friends again after the election. Moreover, so far, Trump's record on war has been ok. Not that he's not capable of changing that quickly. Could we have said the same about HRC had she won? Don't know about you, but I take war as serious.

Given what literally every popular, non-conservative pundit was forecasting at the time, no it wasn’t. He had a right & good reason to say the things he did regardless of effect. And if you want someone to blame, look at yourself and your bootlicking peers, Jeet.
