The roots were still there, they just didn't pass laws to the same extent; fascism even in Italy basically came into being in large part through french anti-dreyfusards

I think the logic of *white supremacy* requires a group of saboteurs within the white majority to explain away how the supposedly-superior race is frustrated & victimized by its inferiors. But that's a specific, special role Jews play in right-wing nutbaggery.

This Indian anti-Semitism seems more like contamination - a contradictory impulse borne of the influence that actual straight up Nazism has had in India, along w/ countless other countries, in spread hateful anti-Jewish bigotry.
