It's not that a lie about personal experience is more wrong than a political lie, but it's easier to peg as a lie (Tucker knows what his door looks like) and it's harder to shift the blame to others (Tucker wasn't misinformed/persuaded that an antifa punk broke his door).

Amoral people usually held off personal lies because there was little upside and considerable downside. When they got caught it was on them and as long as honesty counted for anything, that was a cost. Now it's like LOL nothing matters.

Yes, he lied to you personally (among others) about things you personally have access to information about. He does that all the time, to and about other people.
