In fairness, in 2008 the climate was very different, so it’s hard to compare. The GOP was not yet openly boasting about being the KKK.

Gillium is really good but it think that's just his skill. I think its harder to do anti racism as a POC because we are better at dismissing their views. Mitchell Landrieu , ex mayor of New Orleans is pretty good too, just don't use Hillary as a benchmark.
