3. In the video, Warren makes the proper distinction: "I'm not enrolled in a tribe, and only tribes determine tribal citizenship. I understand and respect that distinction." My worry is by doing DNA test she legitimizes dumb, Trumpian understanding of Native identity.

4. Going forward, I do think one thing Warren can do is point out how bad Trump is on Native issues (including with Kavanaugh nomination) & just say his Pocahontas attack is part of a more general contempt for all things Native.
