Hey Michael—so which is it? Do you think that Kavanaugh told the truth under oath, eg, about “Renate”, about his drinking habit, or do you think that being railroaded gave him the right to lie?

No one ever has the right to lie. Repeatedly asking anyone this is akin to asking whether I believe people have an entitlement to commit fraud or abuse. Please stop. My BS detector is going off on his answer on “boofing.” I think he hasn’t outright lied about his drinking.

On “Renate”, I think it’s possible the intended effect in the yearbook is to look like a boast of sexual conquest, even if the private ‘real’ meaning is just that they each took her to events when not having another date.

So, he may be lying or he may be misleadingly putting all the emphasis on the private “real” meaning. On Devil’s Triangle, I could be convinced either way

What's the argument that this is anything other than an outright deception? Genuine question.https://twitter.com/mtracey/status/1046380302715817984 …

Michael TraceyVerified account @mtraceyHere's just one example for people who refuse to read. Kavanaugh claims he "never attended a gathering like the one Ford describes." The gathering Ford describes *perfectly matches* a gathering listed on the very calendar that *Kavanaugh himself provided* as exculpatory evidence. pic.twitter.com/WjzCeHIWHxShow this thread7 replies 1 retweet 8 likes -

I do. I practiced for 7 years and clerked for a federal judge. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Are you an attorney?

You didn't answer the question. Also: Kavanaugh wasn't at hearing as an attorney but as a job applicant for a high position. When a job applicant is very weaselly and dishonest in an interview, you usually don't hire him or her.
