When was I with Avenatti?

This was not a reference to you being "with Avenatti," but rather that those, such as yourself, who are inclined to believe the accusations again Kavanaugh, even draw the line at Avenatti.

I'm neither inclined or disinclined to believe allegations. I take allegations seriously if they are carefully presented and seem credible (as were allegations of Ford and Rameriz as reported in New Yorker). Less seriously when it's Avenatti on twitter.

Based on the vague nature of the accusations (Ford: no specific time/location; no contemporaneous corroboration, not even a diary; no eyewitnesses who corroborate now), I'd say you are inclined to believe charges against Kavanaugh.

You apparently see yourself as just disinterestedly evaluating the evidence. I think the evidence is terribly thin so there must be a reason you are inclined to believe them. I get that you'd reject this. But this is kind of what my initial tweet was meant to portray.

The evidence is only thin if your default position is to disbelieve women (rather than think they are as likely to be telling the truth as men).

Well, that's not me. I strongly oppose Keith Ellison, but have expressed great skepticism about the allegations against him; on the other hand, I was quite convinced the charges against Roy Moore were legit....

...Also, I am almost completely convinced now that Juanita Broaddrick's accusation of Bill Clinton is true, and I have called for Trump to be impeached b/c of his lying/paying off women before the election.

I agree with you on Ellison, Moore and Clinton (Broadrick). In the case of Kavanaugh, I don't see much difference between women coming forward now and those who spoke about Moore.

The accusations against Moore seemed far more consistent over time and his response more arrogant and dismissive. The Kavanaugh stuff seems out of the blue, inconsistent with other testimony of his character, and seem like situations ripe for mistaken identity.

"Other testimony of his character"? His friendship with Mark Judge, and many stories of drinking as high school student and undergraduate speak for themselves. As for mistaken identity, we have to believe now that 2 (and possibly more) women made that mistake.
