You’re right, in that technically Borel did go to court. I didn’t mean to imply that she was lying, I meant to imply that Borel was not guilty of lying unless proven otherwise. You’re wrong, in your use of the word “only”.

Since Ghomeshi agreed to the peace bond and the apology, we have no reason to think that they weren't key factors in the agreement reached by both sides.
