When one claims an entire nation is "exceptional," by definition it is perfect and therefore there needs be no introspection, no self-examination to learn where we've made made terrible mistakes and where we can improve who and what we are, and improve how we treat people.
-

Which is odd for a nation that supposedly believes in a deity that taught, "forgive my sins as I forgive the sins of others." Instead we excuse all our own evil deeds while calling down hellfire on those we think have offended us. Like Jesus was just joking.
