Same happened to me in 2012. I'm a Republican. Was deployed to Afghanistan and of course never got or responded to the card in the mail confirming my eligibility prior to their disenrolling me. I found out when I tried to vote for Mitt on Election Day.

Yeah they did that to me during the Clinton/Trump electorate I had to literally re-register to vote or rather prove that my vote should have counted
