Yes. I call it the Forest-Gumpification of history. My parents are boomers, and our family were hippies and anti-war activists for a number of years. NOT a majority lifestyle or political perspective at all.

I've commented on the same to my boomer parents after perusing their high school yearbooks. "I don't see the sex, drugs & rock n' roll! I see a bunch of dorks wearing ties and really bad haircuts and eyeglasses that are somehow back in fashion."

You mean the boomers who protested the Vietnam War, freedom rode to Mississippi, created the green movement, burned their bras, rioted at Stonewall, dropped acid at Woodstock, held political funerals on the White House lawn, and transformed gender roles? Those boomers?
