1. So. That New York Times op-ed from the anonymous Senior White House official. It's high-grade seagull guano. A perfect example of how Decency Resistance is designed to shield the elite. Let me explain.

Totally agree. Either the president is fit for purpose or he’s not. Only illegitimate States prop up unfit leaders.

It sounds very Deep State like to me.

The writer of the NYT op-ed is trying to pretend White House staff have everything under control when they obviously do not.https://twitter.com/upine/status/1037449022942760960 …

agree, Congress and Republicans should be doing the right thing!! And yes that is why you see such a grassroots movement because if “the people” don’t take action our government is not working as it should be. This Admin is insanity.Thanks. Agree the high moral tone of the op-ed is galling but if it helps break Trump's spell over his demented supporters and helps bring the whole circus crashing down I'm all for it.

Jeet, you make it sound like 25A is easy. You’d need Pence and 8 cabinet secretaries to invoke it, then would need Congress to act. It’s a heavy lift unlikely to succeed, and the consequences of failure could be catastrophic.

Any thoughts on why the NYT would publish this?

The NY Times is trash, always has http://been.JP Morgan was the ghost owner, saved the paper in early 1900s. It’s always served the oligarchs. It’s purpose is to pay fealty to liberal causes while doing the bidding of the war machine & business elite(oppressors). Today
