2. The specific allegation against Pecker are: he had National Enquirer buy story about Trump affair from Playboy model & then didn't publish it as a favor to Trump. Possibly he was payed back for this.

3. There a bunch of problems with Pecker's behavior. I'll leave it the legal system to decide if it was lawful. From a journalistic stand-point, it was unethical. It's not the job of journalists to keep stories away from public as favor for powerful friends.
