Eh ... if we're talking about the letter from Butler and others, I'm surprised that people are writing that off as a weird feminist/anti-feminist response. Juicy angle but not at all reflective of the substance of it or descriptive of the signers.

The more I think about it the more reductive it is of Butler as an intellectual to make assumptions about her here. As if to say: the straw man of liberal-zombie-academicians is actually what the Ivory Towers are advancing, so it's shocking to see they diverge in reality?
