How exactly is the statement "The people who speak most sensibly about the threat that Islam poses to Europe are actually fascists' evidence of nuance, rumination, deeper exploration etc. It seems like a soundbite, and a very disturbing one.
Do you believe the tenets of Judaism and Christianity are compatible with freedom of speech, gay marriage, gender equality, etc?

Yet millions of Christians and Jews are able to accept those things. Is it possible that religions really aren't homogenous, that many adherents don't pay attention to tenets, and they are more about social practice than doctrine?
