How exactly is the statement "The people who speak most sensibly about the threat that Islam poses to Europe are actually fascists' evidence of nuance, rumination, deeper exploration etc. It seems like a soundbite, and a very disturbing one.

Jeet, copy the Sam Harris quote, paste it into Google, read the longer SH piece that the clever algorithm finds for you, then comment on the import of the essay. All you need is 10 minutes out of your day to realise that you are completely wrong.

So, Jeet, am I right here: The truth of a matter is less important than who utters it?

He's not saying the fascist position as a whole makes more sense. He's saying there are simple truths--like that Islamist violence is a serious problem--that so few libs concede, the only people left saying the obv are fascists. We musn't let fascists gain credibility that way.

In what way is Islamist violence a more serious problem then fascist and other right wing violence and how is the law enforcement response from the liberal democratic Governments of Europe been less than serious?

Ah yes, I understand your problem. You fear that fools will take that sentence out of context and this will give rise to the said fools turning into Nazis. OK, well, go give them some context instead of scrutinizing a single sentence out of context, exactly like the fools do.
