She didn't mentioni *when* France joined us in Iraq. It was long after the invasion."Opération Chammal is the name of the French military operation which is currently ongoing in Iraq ..." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Op%C3%A9ration_Chammal … . Many countries sent armed people to Iraq well after the invasion.

I was thinking of Italian Carabinieri. Iraq was invaded by the US UK, Australia and don't forget the 200 Poles. But armed people from many countries risked their lives trying to help clean up the mess we made.

I’ve seen other people make this mistake and uh, Chirac vs. the US was like the most prominent dispute in the lead up to the war? How do you forget this??? Genuinely baffling.

Clearly having a memory lapse as Pletka was very upset at the Chirac government for opposing the 2003 invasion of Iraq by the US.
