In case you didn't notice, TNR is not an academic journal but a general interest one. So I linked to an article that was 1) long 2) accessible to most readers 3) on a topic that Cavell wrote a lot about (film). Also linked to Rorty & Cavell on Wittgenstein.
That would be a better point if Cavell didn't write a great deal about popular culture, including forms despised by most critics (i.e. golden age Hollywood women's picture).
