6. But rather than seeing Jung or Enlightenment thinkers (Locke, Hume etc) as having complex legacy that needs shifting through, there's a real tendency towards hero worship & sidelining all criticism. Sad!
I recall a former professor of mine, Richard Wolin, wrote about Jung & his political sympathies in The New Republic back in the 90s. Can’t find the piece online but presumably you have access to TNR’s archives.

Well, if you mean Kant was one of the greatest thinkers who ever lived & Jung was a quirky eccentric with some nifty ideas, sure.
