so basically Valve playing like League of Legends now, with the round robin bs. I think this one is also going to take a toll in mental welfare, warnings of fatigue because this would require a lot of time to keep up their ranks to qualify for the majors (?)

Okay i get the DPC part and i agree on that. It is ridiculous. But dont you think this is still healthier for T2 and T3 scene than it was before?

Ultimately it comes down to $. Does elevating the T2/3 scenes really help with sponsors? Certainly not. It feels like DotA is taking the socialist stance hoping the community will finance the scene while League took the capitalist approach with franchising. Capitalism always wins

Traveling to a Major just to get no money or prize pool out of it seems very backwards to me. It’s completely out of touch for people who actually have to work to make a living.
