We arnt insane though. In general gun owners would put their life in danger and fight back against a shooter instead of running. No one is glad these things happen. But we won’t give up our right to defend ourselves from evil.
You can't reduce gun violence by adding more guns - that doesn't ever work. You can't expect random people *with no training* to step up in an event like this. The best way to stop this is to remove the gun from the fight. A man with a knife doesn't kill 20 fucking people.

There will always be violence. You can expect it because people, like myself, do get training. It would help if more people did that. Also you will never be able to get rid of guns, and yes there have been mass killings with knives (look at China) and trucks (look at Europe).
