Space question: Looks like several countries are still working on spaceplanes. Is there a reason to do this now that SpaceX (and presumably soon Blue Origin) are doing reuseable rockets?
We don't know the turnaround time and refurbishment costs for a Skylon because it doesn't exist yet.. Reusable rockets do and they're much simpler with a higher payload to mass ratio

Yes, but the question was why people are still pursuing them, and SSTO spaceplanes have the potential for better reusability after refinement, even if Falcons are the better option now
