Here's my short story of how I learned the lyrics to @Snowdko's mega hit from the 90's! A thread..

So I'm driving to work the other day when Informer starts playing on the radio. I'm all "A licky bom bom YEAH" all the way to work. Also, I realize I have no idea what he's singing, like at all. So I Shazam it real quick to save it for later.

This is where it gets a little weird. Shazam gets the song in an instant and pops this photo up. Also it says the artist's name is Snow. I'm like - what?pic.twitter.com/MaYOgfAnNM

Now I'm really interested. Later that evening I remember to look up the lyrics to the song and I'm BLOWN AWAY. First off, Snow's a white dude from Canada. CANADA! Never in my life I would have thought that could be right - having only heard the song on the radio before.

Second, these lyrics are pretty hardcore. I saw the lyrics for the hook and instantly I thought there had to be a mistake. This can't be what he's actually singing, right?pic.twitter.com/FAxNwkRkBW

So I fire up the song with the lyrics in front of me and sure enough, that's what he's singing. There's just no way to catch what he's singing without actually looking at the lyrics! I'm totally fascinated at this point, I have to learn the lyrics.

Personally, I love singing and because of that I have a need to know what I'm singing so I take the time to learn song lyrics in general because it makes songs more fun. This song? Man, I can't drop it at this point.

So anyway, yeah I took a few days of slamming this song on serious repeat and now I can proudly (I guess?) say I can sing Informer. My family is also really glad I stopped playing the song because they were growing really tired of it
