The Opportunity Mars rover original mission was for 90 days. It's been on Mars since *2004*. That's like getting a car with a 100k mile warranty and driving it 6 million miles. Incredible. #WakeupOppy

… and I just looked out my window after writing those and saw Mars hanging in the southeast sky, bright and ruddy. It’s a *world*, it’s a *place*, and we have sent our machines there. That will never not amaze and thrill me.
