I don't like discussions about power levels, because people can be total assholes about it. One Piece is more than just 'who is stronger'.

Fans who only care about the result of a fight and not the process of it are disgusting.

The fight took 10 days, which means they would've been fighting on the same level until the balance is tilted to one side. If Akainu was out of Aokiji's league, the fight wouldn't even take that long. People seemed to have no problem to say that Luffy is equals with Katakuri.

His name is Iida. As in capital "i", not small "L".

If the headmistress gave him the letter after seeing him fixing another contestants' clothes, that would've made wayyy more sense but no... the author wanted shogi like wth.

Having her recognizing Ikuto's potential after playing shogi is ridiculous because it symbolizes nothing. It doesn't fit with the scene, it doesn't fit with the competition, it doesn't fit thematically. What it is, is stupid.

The author focuses too much on Kokoro that I just got super tired because Chiyuki's and Ikuto's storyline was pushed aside. It's also stupid how the headmistress gave recommendation to Ikuto after playing shogi against him, like wtf.. it's not a shogi manga..

Yet the clothes are already made and we didn't get to see the process at all. All of a sudden Ikuto is a genius who could do anything and Kokoro is the underdog. Kokoro could've just been Chiyuki's rival who beat her. But suddenly, she's also in a way Ikuto's rival who beat him.

Yet what we get is his back-and-forth "should I take the money" with the btchy manager of Kokoro, and in a way try to solve Kokoro's problems, and console her when she cries blablabla. Instead of the author actually showing his hardships in making outfits without money..

His theme was "world", don't you think the author should show scenes of Ikuto researching about the different fashion styles in the world, and have magazine cutouts pasted on his wall, a book-full of designs, and have him consult his mentor more about the different techniques?

However, Kokoro was given way more focus than Ikuto in thay arc, and suddenly Kokoro was the underdog and Ikuto was the senpai who had to encourage her. We weren't even shown Ikuto's efforts designing and making the clothes for the competition.

I dropped Runway de Waratte after the author introduces Kokoro and let her win the competition thingy. Her existence as a character dragged Ikuto's growth as a character at that time. Ikuto was supposed to be the underdog, learning from the teacher/boss at the studio he works at
