Specifically, the Warner Bros. legal team does not use "@gmail.com" for official corporate business.
They would have an address at:
@warnerbros.com
@wb.com
@warnermediagroup.com
Or, a law firm with a corporate address. Not a free gmail account.
This is a fraud.

The fraud claim has no background on that email account. I checked it on Been Verified. They are not who they claim to be.pic.twitter.com/l8brnBgLOw

So,
@TeamYouTube@YouTube You claim to be going after accounts that claim false copyright. Go as far as ban them from YouTube & take legal action? And yet, you believe Warner Bros. Entertainment is using a “gmail” account for copyright claims?https://youtu.be/ddS_vmEbUwYShow this thread

My friend who is a musician spent months creating her EP. She wrote and produced it, made a video for one of the songs, Teathered Butterfly, and put it on her YouTube channel. Someone did a copyright claim and now her channel is blocked. Her own song got her a strike

Even when it’s obvious people are fraudulent, there is no real check to verify they actually have the copyright. All Youtube had to do about your friend was check the dates. Who posted first?

I have been wondering this as well. I'm all for protecting copyright but why don't you verify that the claims are legitimate? As it stands anyone could claim copyright infringement on anything on YouTube regardless of who is making nthe accusations. Thats not good.
