    As you watch this thing lift off and go away, imagine how it must feel for Muslim families. Immigrant families. The House, the Senate, and the White House given to a party that sees them as human beings. This is a moment of relief for a lot of people.

    Per people close to the White House, several official and unofficial aides are trying - without success - to get the president to issue a stronger statement. He simply won't do it. He's been furious at Pence for refusing to do something he doesn't have power to do and that's that

    The incredible show of force that we saw in DC this summer... Where is it? That was nowhere near what we are seeing happen today as lawmakers in both chambers are in lockdown and unable to continue their duties while violent protestors storm the Capitol.
