This is also a good time to point out that soccer, not hockey is the most widely player sport in Canada. Is more affordable, more diverse, more universal and I think deserves more attention and respect. Hopefully these women will help make it happen!

The chance of getting attacked by a bear is around 1 in a million.
This is roughly the same risk (potentially not confirmed) of developing a dangerous blood clot from the AZ/JJ Vaccines.
If you go outside, you are good to take the chance on the vaccine.

Getting vaccinated does NOT mean that you can pour iocaine powder into both goblets of wine while engaging in a battle of wits (to the death) against a Sicilian (even if you’ve already bested a Spaniard and a giant). It takes years to build up an immunity to iocaine powder!

I'm the parent of a trans kid. I want to clarify what that means (as best I can), because a lot of folks don't know or make incorrect presumptions. Happy #TransDayOfVisibility.

*whispers* You can have pandemic burnout and not have kids.
When you restrict them
When you belittle them
When you insult them
When you doubt their place
When you question their worth
When you watch quietly as others do the same
You do it to us. All of us.
Don’t.

How come and work to raise money for struggling Texans, many of whom didn't vote for Beto and think AOC is a she-witch, doesn't count as a UNITY story?
How come the media isn't spinning it that way? How come "unity" can only mean "giving the GOP what it wants"?

Hi! I’m a Black woman working to lay the same voting infrastructure for Tennessee that was laid in Georgia. My nonprofit is working to find a major gift donor so we can keep up the momentum. RT this and maybe I’ll find my next investor on Twitter?

I haven’t had a cold or even sniffles in a year. I’m going to keep wearing a mask in crowds and on planes even after I get vaccinated. They WORK.

I had someone tell me to keep politics out of my lesson and just teach.
I teach History.
That is like telling a Math teacher to keep numbers out of their lessons or telling an English teacher to keep words out of their lessons.

This is one of the things that frightens me the most about today. The last report I saw listed 15 arrests...
Quote Tweet
A few years ago @CapitolPolice arrested more than 150 peaceful protesters, many of them sexual assault survivors, using their 1st amendment right to protest the Kavanaugh nomination. I haven't been able to find one report or photo of any marauders or looters arrested today.

Growing up, my Muslim family never celebrated Christmas. This year I am not going home, because pandemic, so my roommates are teaching me how to have my first proper Christmas.
I am approaching this with anthropological precision.
Here are a few observations.
