I don’t question the evidence that Black and Hispanic communities are *hesitant* to take the vaccine—and that’s a problem. But it is very different from the outright misinfo war on the vaccine effort we are seeing from certain right-wing outlets.

It's not political resistance or even political resistance masquerading as scientific doubts. It's access, often as fear of losing work, and distrust in a medical system that generally serves them poorly.

I live in SC and the majority of people that I know and work with that haven’t been vaccinated are African Americans and people under 30 - neither one big Trump supporters. They have access to them, but won’t get them for various reasons. That doesn’t seem to be getting reported

They may not be campaigning, but if you speak to anyone who is attempting to distribute to those communities, the hesitancy there is very strong.
