    It’s fun having a partner who’s not English because I get to translate things like “No it’s ok, don’t worry” which means “If you haven’t noticed it yourself, I’m not going to ask for help” “Do you want me to get it?” means “It’s your turn to pay” & “I’m fine” means “I’m seething”

    I’ve been thinking about how everyone tells you to isolate for 14 days but there is little information about when to should stop if you are ill & when you stop being infectious. I was trying to work out how to phrase this when a mate sent this. It’s wild we’re not told about this

    Anyway, today in the long covid clinic, I witnessed a woman arguing with a nurse in full PPE that she could not wear a mask because then she wouldn’t be able to eat the fish and chips she had laid out on her lap. It was amazing.

    Today I was weighed in public in the waiting room of a packed over-flowing to the corridors hospital. Medics you need to stop this. It is the opposite of care: it is shaming, humiliating and excruciatingly triggering for so many people.

    You realise you have all been screwed over with out data usage costs this year right? They could have given us an option to roll it over as everyone was at home using wifi in a pandemic, but no, they just carried on our money.
