A policy preventing Copyright owners from making $ on manual claims for:
Short song clips (ex: 5 sec of a song)
Unintentional audio (ex:
from passing cars)
Claimants can still block monetization or the video itself, but timestamps help you edit out the claim.

Here's the thing on that: I've never seen any use of the dislike button in my time on YouTube (I set up in 2016) that indicated patterns I could use to adjust my content. When you post review based stuff, that's sort of to be expected. And rather useless.

With the dislike button we can safely assure that the video we are about to watch is garbage or not

So true it did nothing either way, as it didn't hurt the creator as a view is a view. But most times a creator would ask for people to say why they did dislike the video, and most never would say why? So what was the point of the dislike button if no one says anything?

So you rather be a coward & protect egos, eh? I'd rather KEEP the dislike since it's a useful thing. Having a like/dislike ratio is important on whether or not you either made a decent video or how much of a fuckup you are.
