The pit bull issue is exactly the same as the racial issues. Shitlibs are trying desperately to prove that genetics doesn't affect behavior, both in dogs and man.

Well let's say gene G causes increased production of neurotransmitter X, and having more neurotransmitter X makes behavior B more likely

Actions don't happen in vacuums. If I don't have gene G I can still do behavior B. Either way it's rarely as simple for one gene to cause a trait. And genes don't cause traits on their own. That's what I mean when I say "Genes don't cause behavior", it's not possible.
