Incels are not only selected against on the dating market, but their traits are also discriminated against on the employment market. They are often the victims of Affirmative Action, and they suffer from height discrimination and personality (eg shyness) discrimination.

Not only are all of the Ellen Paos out there trying to root them out of their companies (see James Damore, who is likely incel), but also HR women can smell the incel on interviewees, and they are rarely hired.

That's what my guesses about him are based on, too. But I though I remembered some "his girlfriend stands by him" from some article. But he's smart, confident in at least some of his character, has money, and performs minimal grooming.
