Tensions in America keep rising, year after year. Compare today to 2006 or 1999. It's not really a time of good feelings like previous good economic times. How will all these tensions be released, and when?

Most plausible scenario is a dollar crash imo, could happen if/when US is more and more unable to pay, until schelling point of faith loss occurs
-
Not really seeing that happening soon. Maybe some other trigger first
-
Soon? Absolutely not; however a few important things to note: -Pakistan has moved away from the USD to Yuan -China & Russia still undermining the USD -MENA/Central Asia geopolitical landscape almost paved for regional Sunni/Shia conflict (KSA & Iran, obv) 1/2
-
2/3 -Potential for Euro Instability -Brexit's impact on the common market -V4 countries already angry, second refugee crisis could inspire them to leave (we're due for at least 2 more refugee crises in the near future) -PIGS crises & potential Italexit
-
3/3 Aside from the potential catastrophe of Eurozone countries leaving the EU, which would almost certainly impact the dollar, there's loads of potential for "debt bombs" in America to blow up. Student loans are particularly worrisome.
