Turns out there is actually a scheduled exit date in 2019, though not much will change until 2020 or so. We'll see if it actually happens and what it really means.

In late 2016 it almost felt as if something good had happened. That was 1914. We're now realising that it isn't going to be over by Christmas, and that after four years spent covered in shit fighting the Germans, we'll have nothing to show for it but a diminished bank balance.
